"I am a college graduate with a degree in Economics. The four years I spent in college did very little to train me for a specific career. As a result I have done many different jobs over the last fifteen years. I always seemed to end up getting a job with physical labor and then trying to work my way up. However, it was still a big step that I wasn’t sure I wanted to take. After discussing it with my wife we decided that it was something we wanted to do.

The instructor’s knowledge about the coursework material, and not to mention his real world knowledge, was invaluable. Not only do they teach you the technical skills to land a job in the IT field they also teach you the practical skills too. The Career Services specialist walks you through the proper steps of writing a resume and cover letter along with performing mock interviews. It wasn’t easy but I was able to earn all of my certifications before the end of the six months of class.

Although, I had no experience in the IT industry my certifications allowed me to get started in the field. My first day on the job I was working on servers and feeling very confident about what I was doing and very excited about what the future holds for me in the IT field.
