"The reason why I decided to look into ComputerTraining.com is because I kept hearing their commercials which always closed with "take our Online Skills Challenge". Most commercials go in one ear and out the other, but at the time I was really thinking a lot about the road I’ve been on as far as my career goes and thought even more about where I wanted to be. After high school and some college, I started working for an engineering and architectural firm. I liked what I did, and made decent money, but I didn’t have a fulfilled feeling and was not passionate about what I was doing. In a job change to a new firm, I had the opportunity to continue doing civil drafting and to also manage their IT operations. After seeing the networking aspect of engineering, I decided this is where I wanted to be! A lot of the information naturally clicked with me and I would willingly spend hours working and learning IT. Sadly, those duties came to an end when I decided to go back to the company I originally came from and that was the time I really started thinking about changing careers into the IT field. Seeing that I knew I had to attend some type of school to learn more skills and really didn’t want to go back to college again, I decided to look into ComputerTraining.com and see what they were all about. I took the Online Skills Challenge out of curiosity and did mediocre, which proved I had a lot more to learn!
Before enrolling into the program, I did have my hesitations. I was concerned about going back to school and having to attend classes again as well as balancing homework and assignments with my work schedule and life. I was able to overcome this though after realizing that having a career in IT was something that I really wanted to do and knew that attending this program had the ability to change my life, so I went for it. Overall the program was extremely challenging and does take a lot of hard work, but I enjoyed it! It really was not hard staying committed to studying and the assignments did not even seem like work at all, in fact, it was a great experience. Admissions did a great job of supplying all the program information, the instructors were very motivating and always willing to provide extra help, and Career Services worked hard at assisting with the job search and preparing for the interview process. Throughout my whole time in class I always felt that the entire staff was there for me, assuming you put forth the effort.
My new job has been great and a lot of that is because of the great training and guidance I received from ComputerTraining.com. I am making more money now, which is good, but even more important to me, is that I am doing what I want to do. Not many people can say they have a great job and that they love it... I can! It has really given me a sense of fulfillment and has definitely got me wanting more and to go deeper into the IT industry.
If you are thinking about attending classes at ComputerTraining.com, don’t do it unless you without a doubt are ready to put forth the effort needed to change your life around. It’s hard, but six months from now, you won’t have any of the regrets or concerns that you had before you started."

"When I began at ComputerTraining.com, I was working in a job that was going nowhere. I had been floating around for years trying to figure out how to improve both my pay and the work I was doing. I knew I wanted to work with computers. I had gone to a few schools for a few different things and they all shared something in common. It was going to take me years to complete the program and get anywhere. In the meantime, I was struggling with bills and generally miserable with my life.
I heard about ComputerTraining.com on the radio and I listened to it and finally contacted them. I liked what I heard about the program and the people I met were all wonderful. It almost seemed too good to be true. Still, the idea of a new job and a better life were far too tempting not to try.
The first day of class, I was glad I did it. I knew that I was going to be learning things that I’d always wanted to know and that it would help me in my future career. Two months after I started the program, I got my MCP and the Director of Placement started helping me find a new job. That first job was so much better than what I had been working, there was no doubt in my mind I’d made the right choice.
Since then I have changed jobs a couple times, going through some consulting positions. Now, I’ve started a new job at a wonderful company helping teachers be able to better run and maintain their classes through some amazing programs. I love my job and expect to move up fast with the company. I would recommend ComputerTraining.com to anyone looking to improve their lives. The people that work here are your advocates. They WANT you to succeed and they do what they can to make that happen.
To any of you out there reading this, wondering if it’s for real, it is! Take that deep breath and make the choice to join the program. It’ll be the best decision you’ve ever made!"

"I was introduced to computers in 1994 and found that I had a vast interest in computer technology; I then began a journey of teaching myself computers. Along the way I took introductory courses and even represented my organization at a regional computer course where I excelled with a certificate of distinction. Over the years I was assisting relatives and friends with computer issues and found that this was definitely the career I wanted to pursue.
However, it was not until after retiring from a fifteen year career in law enforcement that I was able to pursue this goal. Shortly after moving to the US in 2007 I began searching for computer schools to attend. I heard an ad for ComputerTraining.com and took the Online Skills Challenge. After visiting with the Director of Admissions I found ComputerTraining.com to be what I was looking for; an opportunity to enter the IT field in as little time as possible. Being new to the US, I felt that I would not be able to cope with the work load and being in a classroom environment. I worked hard at keeping my grades up, even when I had to work every day for four weeks while attending school I was able to maintain a passing grade. With the help of my instructor and encouragement from the Director of Career Services I overcame this fear.
The experience at ComputerTraining.com was challenging but with hard work and dedication you will complete the course. The competent Career Services Department will work with you to make you an excellent candidate for any position. I was offered a Technical Support position after graduating. I can now look forward to practicing what I have learned in a career I love.
There are challenges ahead but ComputerTraining.com has given me the necessary tools to be successful."

"I've been passionate about computers since the first day I laid hands on one, but I didn't think it was feasible to make a career out of it. One of my biggest concerns was the amount of time that I was going to need to invest outside of class. However, I found with classes being two nights a week, I was able to create a guideline with the assistance of the instructor that helped me delegate my time efficiently.
Beforehand, I felt I had an advanced understanding of computers. I was comfortable with installing hardware, home networks, and software. However, within weeks of starting the program I was already learning new material! The instruction was excellent and the hands-on activities complemented the lecture. The career specialist on-site was very helpful. She taught me techniques that I previously did not know regarding the ins and outs of finding a job.
Overall, the opportunity at ComputerTraining.com has opened up many doors for me that would have previously been closed. I feel secure knowing that I now have the credentials to back-up my technical expertise and that I no longer fear that I'll be stuck in a dead-end job. My advice to future students is to study often and keep the dream alive. Thanks to ComputerTraining.com, I feel equipped to pursue a career that I am passionate about and to turn my dreams into reality!"

"Before attending ComputerTraining, I worked as a general manager in the hospitality industry. After a five year run and several promotions, I realized that my future only promised positions that would entail 24/7/365 availability, which was less than desirable. I had an Associate’s Degree, but I knew I would need additional skills to start a new career in today’s job market. Furthermore, I wasn’t exactly sure of what I wanted to do going forward. I vividly remember driving in the car one afternoon and hearing the commercial for ComputerTraining; I knew that instant this would be the tool I needed to launch a new life.
I went home to complete the Online Skill Challenge, and was promptly contacted the next day by a friendly recruiter who had convenient times for me to come in and tour the facilities. I was impressed by what the program and staff had to offer. Additionally, I was thrilled that the program could be completed in six months, as I certainly didn’t have two extra years to go back to school. A few days later I signed up for the August class and hit the ground running from there.
A few months into the program after earning my MCP, with the help of Career Services, I received a job offer from a large national staffing agency. I was placed in the offices of a huge international company. Not only was I learning the knowledge I needed to complete my MCSA and MSCE, but I was gaining real-world experience. I would not have been able to change careers in such a short time without the ComputerTraining.com program. I’m confident the skills I learned will lead me to promising careers in the future, as the IT industry grows."

"I have always been fascinated with computers. I could manage my e-mails, music, pictures and to some degree fix my computer hardware and software problems. I thought about going back to college to study computer science, but the fact that it takes four years and a hefty tuition to achieve my goal made me decide not to. I continued to work in the hotel industry as I had been doing for over twelve years.
When I first heard the ad for ComputerTraining.com on the radio, I just brushed it off...but then I heard it over and over until the day when I decided to check out the website. I took the test and then received a phone call. Even at that point I was still somewhat skeptical, but I went through with it and joined ComputerTraining.com. It seemed hard at first, but I had an excellent instructor who made me believe that I could have success in the program, then hands-on activities in class, and online. The build labs are just an example of the real world, hands-on training and great material that prepared me for the exams. I had a Career Services director that helped me put together a resume and cover letter. She also helped me with the interview process and got me in touch with potential employers. A couple of weeks after my graduation, I found a very good job as a data center technician.
I can't be any happier of how things turned out. I would never have believed I could get to where I am in such a short time. Of course it took hard work and very high confidence."

"I worked in personnel, human relations background in the military for twenty-three years and was fortunate enough to have spent a few years working with computers while I was stationed in Florida. I enjoyed doing the work and was so interested in it that I determined when my time came to retire that I would take a chance and change careers. I decided that I didn’t need another four-year degree just the certifications and found ComputerTraining.com to be the perfect fit for my future needs. I turned off the television and the computer games and, as a family, we all sat at the table and discussed what would happen in our future and what it would cost us now. It was agreed that I would change our lives and take the first step to a promising future.
The knowledge that I gained during classes as well as on my own prepared me for my new career. Sure the idea of changing careers after twenty-three years was a little unnerving for me and my family, but the ends justified the means and I was more than willing to commit to making the leap into change. Anyone thinking about using this program should first consider what they want to be doing in the next five years then come to the class.
The hardest thing about the course for me was my concern in being able to support my family. I will be just fine as they not only trained me but found me a great place to work as well."
