What I like most about the IT industry is the close-knit community. I have never worked in another industry where everyone gets along so well. Every interview I went on seemed like my dream job. I get to talk to people, use my problem solving skills, and get to see someone walk away happy. Knowing that I was part of the reason for someone’s happiness is an exciting feeling.

My biggest concern when I started class was not being sure if I was smart enough. Could I tough out six months of class? Would I be happy with my new career? All these concerns disappeared on my fist day of class. The instructor was very knowledgeable. He worked in the IT field for well over a decade and brought a lot of his personal experiences to the classroom environment. The rest of the staff is great too. The Career Services department never stopped working for me.

My advice to anyone who wants to pursue an IT career is, “DO IT!” Just like the radio ads say. What are you waiting for? Study hard, work hard and success will undoubtedly come your way."

"My computer background before coming to Computertraining.com was not that extensive. I had set up a workgroup at my home, and designed a website and that was the extent of it. I decided to attend computertraing.com, and work toward my MCSE because I always enjoyed computers and the thought process behind computer problems, I was also unhappy with the hours I had to work in the car business, and getting ready to start a family I wanted to have nights and weekends off, so that alone really got the ball moving on working to obtain my MCSE.

I had to put school first and all the other problems I had second, it may have been difficult to do but I knew the outcome was more than I ever could have dreamed of. The best advice I can give you is study, study, study, and never give up. What ever life is going to throw at you let it come, but don't let that bring you down, or get in the way of your dreams and goals, I know I didn't. Don't forget to have fun, its only six months of your life, relax and enjoy the ride. This could be your life changing moment like it was for me.

My overall experience at Computertraining.com was excellent. They gave me the knowledge I needed, and helped me find a job out in the field. Now I can go home at night and relaxed and have fun for a change. It was by far one of the best choices I have made.
