"I am a college graduate with a degree in Economics. The four years I spent in college did very little to train me for a specific career. As a result I have done many different jobs over the last fifteen years. I always seemed to end up getting a job with physical labor and then trying to work my way up. The older I got the harder it was to get noticed.
I had always been interested in computers but wasn’t sure how to make the move into the IT field. After hearing the ComputerTraining.com commercials I decided to take the online skills challenge. After I was contacted by the ComputerTraining.com staff, I scheduled my campus visit. From the beginning I was impressed with what I had seen. However, it was still a big step that I wasn’t sure I wanted to take. After discussing it with my wife we decided that it was something we wanted to do.
From the beginning, the staff at the school was very upfront about the hard work it would take to earn the Microsoft certifications. They were right! The instructor’s knowledge about the coursework material, and not to mention his real world knowledge, was invaluable. Not only do they teach you the technical skills to land a job in the IT field they also teach you the practical skills too. The Career Services specialist walks you through the proper steps of writing a resume and cover letter along with performing mock interviews. It wasn’t easy but I was able to earn all of my certifications before the end of the six months of class.
Although, I had no experience in the IT industry my certifications allowed me to get started in the field. My first day on the job I was working on servers and feeling very confident about what I was doing and very excited about what the future holds for me in the IT field. I can only thank my instructor and ComputerTraining.com for that."

"Getting Microsoft Certified has been something I have considered doing for a long time. Computers have always been an interest of mine. I went to college and received a degree in Information Systems. However, like many, I lacked necessary experience to get into the IT field. As a result, I’ve spent several years in the financial industry in a job that lacks opportunities for personal growth and development. I have always wanted a job that I was excited about. I needed a way to jumpstart my IT career and gain the necessary hands-on training to transition into a more rewarding career.
I remember struggling with the decision to enroll with ComputerTraining.com. Some of my biggest concerns were the amount of time I needed to commit to the program each week and if I could even afford the course. I wasn’t sure if I would be able to balance the amount of reading, homework, and exam preparation necessary to be successful with my already busy life. I didn’t want to invest more into my education for a program if wasn’t 100% committed. The staff at ComputerTraining.com was very accommodating and understanding. They assured me that I was a good match for the program.
Now looking back, I’m glad that I decided to take this course. I have learned so many technical skills. It has not only taught me a lot about computers, but also about myself. My instructor reminded the class that what is easy to do is also easy not to do. You have to make the choice. I’ve learned I can do anything if I put my mind to it and expend the necessary effort.
I would recommend this course to anyone serious about a transition into the IT field. I am amazed at how much I have learned in just six months. If you are willing to follow the guidelines that the program suggests, you will be successful. Getting Microsoft Certified requires a lot of hard work, but it is worth it in the end. As a result of ComputerTraining.com, I can confidently say I will be successful in IT.
ComputerTraining.com has opened the door for me, and I am about to embark on a new career path. I have learned the necessary skills to be successful in this business. More importantly, I have learned the confidence to believe in my own abilities. I’m going to work as a production support analyst with a starting salary higher than I earn now. This is a great start for my IT career. I can’t wait to see how many other doors open as a result of my current success.

"Before attending classes at ComputerTraining.com, I had been working in photo retail for about six years. I had a basic working knowledge of computers, or so I had thought. My company had been downsizing and I was looking to switch career paths. I had heard the commercial while listening to the radio at work. I finally decided to take the Online Skills Challenge. Soon after I was contacted and had an appointment for an orientation. The staff was very helpful explaining the course structure, student expectations, and general information about industry growth and job placement.
Upon starting the classes, I learned how challenging the course was going to be. At first I thought that I had bitten off more than I could chew, but with a lot of studying and the help of the instructor, interns, staff and classmates I was able to keep up. The pacing of the course was fast, but it left little time for distraction. My instructor was incredibly knowledgeable and always had time for one-on-one sessions to help me plot out the most effective strategy for taking exams, and in which areas I needed the most work in preparing to take the exams.
The Career Services department was also vital in my education at ComputerTraining.com. She supplied the class with the skills necessary to write a proper resume and conduct a proper interview, as well as the best places to look for jobs in the IT field. Two months into my classes, a job fair was held at the school, and I walked out with my first IT job!
Now, two weeks after graduation, I have acquired my MCP certification. I have a job that I love, and I am making over $10,000 more a year than in my previous position. I am grateful to the instructors and staff at ComputerTraining.com. They provided me with the technical skills and the career leads necessary for success in the IT world."

"When you go to college, you expect to get the perfect job once you graduate. For me that was not the case. After graduation I could not find a job in the IT field, all because I did not have any experience or certifications. For two years I worked as a teller in a bank until I heard the radio ads for ComputerTraining.com. After sitting in on a class and talking to the admissions director, I decided that I would take the next step towards obtaining that dream job.
I could not have made a better decision. With the help of my instructor and Career Services counselor, I got that dream job the last day of class. What makes it better is the organization I work for does such a tremendous job in helping the community, I couldn’t have asked for more. I used the skills I learned on a daily basis, and continue to use what I know even at home. I couldn’t have made a better choice than to sign up for this program."

"After taking time off from working to have children, I decided it was time to go back into the work force. Previously, I worked as an administrative assistant and so I decided that I wanted a career that had a lot of potential for growth and earning. Being a busy mom, I am in the car a lot and I kept hearing the ads for ComputerTraining.com on the radio. I have always loved computers and said, "Hey, that sounds like what I need." I took the Online Skills Challenge, came into ComputerTraining.com, and two weeks later I had my first class.
One of my biggest concerns in taking this class was that I already had a full time job at home taking care of my three small children. Finding study time was difficult and I ended up pulling many late nights. It was a challenge, but by the end of the class I walked out with three certifications.
If you are willing to work hard and dedicate six months of your life to a better future, then this class is for you. The instruction I received was wonderful and gave me great insight into a lot of real world situations."

"I spent many years in the photofinishing business, until I was laid off in the spring of 2005. I went to work in the metal fabrication business, which was quite a change from operating photographic equipment.
I heard the radio commercial for ComputerTraining.com in April of 2006 and came in to observe a class session. I could tell right away that this was something I wanted to do. I have always tinkered with computers, fixing them for friends and family. The class would give me a chance to get certified and get a job doing something I wanted to do.
Since graduation, I have completed all of my certifications and am now working as a Network Administrator for the metal fabrication company, as well as a Network Administrator for a school. In addition, I have begun working as a Network Consultant for several small companies.
ComputerTraining.com has opened many new doors for me to pursue my IT career. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to break into or advance in the IT field. It will change your life!"
