I was nervous at first because I am an older gentleman. I did not know how easy it would be to get into a new field changing careers completely. I did something that I did not think was possible. I started to do something for me, something that I enjoyed doing as a hobby and not just a job to pay the bills.

The course was tough. I found myself studying every free time I had. Without attending every class and paying attention to everything the instructor had to say taking the exams on my own would have been impossible. The course is designed to keep you on track. However, you have to be the one deciding to stay on the track. The biggest fear at first was passing the exams. I realized by attending classes, completing the homework and taking the practice quizzes that the instructor gave to us made it a lot better when it came to test time.

One of my biggest concerns entering the program was that I was not sure what to expect. The biggest fear I had entering the program was how quickly I would get employed after graduation. "Before I attended ComputerTraining.com I was a teacher's aide in an elementary school as well as a waiter at a country club. My background did not consist of any formal computer training. I was always good with computers and the informal "IT guy" at all of my jobs, and it was time to make a career out of my talents.
