Read What Our Students Are Saying About ComputerTraining.com
A Training Center is only as good
as the students that fill its classrooms. If our students are not
successful, we are not successful. Below are just a few of the

"I mainly used computers for recreational use and as a tool for my job. Some of my friends were already in the IT industry and I envied having to consult them for everything that went wrong with my computer. Every time they fixed or installed something for me I would learn from them and soon I was able to do some things on my own while assisting others as well. I realized I had a knack for this and wondered where I would have to go to learn.
I hated the thought of having to go to college again. The ComputerTraining.com radio ads kept asking, “What are you waiting for?” so one day I took the Online Skills Challenge and passed. I was contacted, interviewed and received tuition information quickly.
I was very nervous during the class thinking that there would be a lot of technically savvy people there that would laugh me under the table, but the experience was sublime. The instructor went neither too fast nor slow and the way the program was laid out, there was no way you wouldn't learn the material. I graduated with my MCP, MCSA and MCSE in Server 2K3. A month after I had my CCNA. The foundation set at ComputerTraining.com is what helped me achieve my CCNA in such a short time. I'm now turning down job offers because there are so many! It feels good to be in a field that's in demand. Where my previous job had reached its peak, here I am starting a more profitable career path. So I would ask people thinking about the course, “WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?”"

"When I first decided to make my career change, I had about ten years of retail management experience. I worked the typical retail schedule, morning to night, five to seven days a week.
ComputerTraining.com gave me the chance to advance my basic computer knowledge and take it to the next level. I was employed in the field the same day I received my MCP, with less than 3 months experience. I was initially concerned with the amount of work and reading I knew I would be faced with to succeed. I was afraid I wouldn't be able to find time. I'm so glad that I was able to make the time, learn what I needed, and found a job that is more rewarding and interesting than retail could ever be!"

"I wanted to join ComputerTraining.com to broaden my computer ability. I have always been the one in my family to be the computer “fix-it” person. I learned so much more than I thought I could at ComputerTraining.com. My instructor was positive and upbeat.
I wanted to make a career change to the world of computers. I have been in the Administrative Assistant field for several years and I wanted to be more hands-on with troubleshooting computers, rather than just the operation of them, and of course I wanted to earn more money!
I have graduated and have started with a reputable company as an entry-level help desk analyst. I want to gain the experience in the field so I can move onto bigger and better things, earning more as I grow.
ComputerTraining.com has made an impression on me that I will never forget. I went to college, but yet the courses I took with ComputerTraining.com have been the most challenging I’ve ever taken.
My advice to new students is that there is no time for slacking! The advertisement is correct in saying it’s an accelerated course! Stay in close contact with Career Services and take their advice to heart. My Career Services representative worked with me ever step of the way and she gave 100% of herself to my career needs. Without Career Services, I wouldn’t have the job I hold today!"

"When I first decided I wanted to become Microsoft certified, I had only messed around with computers in my spare time during college. I knew enough to get me by, but wanted to learn more. I was working as a bill collector and it was not the job that I wanted to turn into a career. It was the job I needed to make money. The work was not stimulating and I didn’t get any satisfaction or feel that I was truly making a difference. My days were long and dull and I knew I needed a change. One morning, I heard a radio commercial on my way to work and thought it was just another waste of time like all the other commercials on the radio. That day at work was a particularly rough one, so after I got home I jumped on my computer and decided to take the Online Skills Challenge. From that day on, I have never looked back. Now I know that since I have my certification, I can go anywhere or do any thing that I want.
The best part about my new career is that I am finally needed. I have learned that many people are scared of technology and don’t want to learn. When a problem arises, I can fix the issue and allow the person to complete their work, this gives me a great deal of satisfaction unlike my last job. I am now working for a non-profit organization that lends money to the impoverished people in third world countries. When I do my job properly, my company can function smoothly and serve a better purpose.
There were many doubts before I started with the program. I asked myself, will I ever get out of this dead end job? Or, what else can I do with my life? While in the program, there were many struggles. But with a little perseverance and a lot of hard work, I was able to accomplish my goals. Without the support of my teacher and her constantly pushing me to succeed, I would have never been able to see my dreams materialize in front of my eyes.
I would recommend this path for any one who wants to get out of a job that lacks fulfillment. I would tell them that you need to work hard for the things you want because no one else is going to just hand it to you. One thing that kept me going while in school was something my teacher would say to me, “Isn’t it funny that the harder you work the luckier you are."

"At my last job, I had some computer skills with our company server. But for the most part, I worked in the Accounting Department. I was there for seven years and decided that I needed a career change and computers really interested me.
I have skills now that I thought I would never have. I came into ComputerTraining.com knowing very little and now six months later, I have enough knowledge to go anywhere.
I was very nervous about the studying. I didn’t know if I could put the time in. But if you really want it, you will find the time. Try not to be too overwhelmed at first. Just pace yourself and you will do great!
I think it made me realize that if you put your mind to it, you can do it. Don’t get discouraged. When I did, I had a lot of support here from all of the employees. They were great motivators."

"I’ve always enjoyed working with computers ever since I was a kid. Having worked as a restaurant manager for several years, I was ready to make a career change. I didn’t have any real experience in the IT industry so I chose ComputerTraining.com to get the hands on experience to earn a position doing something that I actually enjoy.
My biggest fear before entering the program was that I wouldn’t be able to find a job without actual experience in the field. But I found a higher paying job even before completing the program! I like my new career because of the independence and I’m doing something that I actually enjoy. The advice I would give to new students entering the program is to study hard and never give up. The material is difficult, but if it weren’t - everyone would do it. I definitely have more opportunities now than I ever have after completing the program."

"My computer background involved working with Microsoft operating systems and Office programs extensively. I have always been fascinated by computers and what they could do. I sought certification because I wanted to see the computing world from the technical side. I knew how to use computers, but wanted to understand how they worked from the inside out. I am making the career change due to completing 20 years of military service. I chose the IT industry because of the ever changing and challenging environment.
I like the possibilities of the IT field. My new career working with EDS on the Navy Marine Corps Internet is a way for me to give some quality of life for our service members that I was not able to access. With the IT field ever changing, there are always going to be bigger and better things to help move my career forward. Before choosing starting my program with ComputerTraining.com, my biggest concern was being able to complete the course. Finding the time to complete the homework and Self Test studies due to having a full time job already seemed almost impossible. I overcame this obstacle by making time for myself and do what I needed to make graduation possible.
I would tell new students that they need to dedicate themselves for the whole six months of the course. You will need to study hard and ask questions! If you are not able or prepared to do this, then you should look at other avenues. This course is not easy! You will have to give 100%.
The overall experience has been outstanding! It has helped me transition from twenty years of Navy service to civilian employment, which I was concerned about. I know that I can make a difference in this field just knowing that I will be able to help people who are having difficulties with their computer systems. By helping people, I feel totally satisfied with my decision to enter the IT industry."
