"One day while driving I heard the radio ad for ComputerTraining.com and just kind of dismissed it at first. The one thing it did do is prompt me to take a look at my life and where I was heading with my career. In the past I have always been the unofficial IT person everyone went to with their computer issues. I have always enjoyed working on computers and realized that I would like to do that for a living. I have had plenty of jobs but never a career. I had my A+ certification and had taken courses in college towards a CIS degree but grew tired of everyone telling me that I needed to go back to school. So I made the decision to contact ComputerTraining.com.

I now have a career in the IT field for a global company. I’m no longer fixing up computers for friends and family, but making decisions that impact thousands of users worldwide. The training that I received from ComputerTraining.com helped me to not only get a rewarding job, but the wealth of knowledge I gained greatly impressed my employer. So much so that I was able to bring in a fellow student from my ComputerTraining.com courses.

The biggest fear that I had was starting a career all over again. I was also very skeptical about the quality of the training that I would receive. Within a few short weeks, I knew that I had made the right decision. From the instructor, all the way up to the President of ComputerTraining.com, there is a sincere desire for their students to achieve greatness. There really is no feeling like earning that first certification. I was increasingly motivated work even harder and do that much more!

The one piece of advice that I would give to prospective students is to get enrolled and give it your all. It is a long and sometimes difficult road to travel but if you stick with it the payoff is well worth the hard work. The program is fast-paced and can be frustrating at times, but the staff at Computertraining.com is always there to help and support you.

This program has allowed me to get certified and achieve my goals. I have the respect of friends, family and co-workers. It’s a good feeling to get up in the morning and actually want to go to work and see what new challenges await me each day, which is such a big change from dreading the alarm clock going off!

None of this could have been possible without the support I received not only from ComputerTraining.com but also from both family and friends who helped me every step of the way!"

"I decided to take the program at ComputerTraining.com because of my love for working with computers. I have been interested in computers since I got my hands on my first one at the age twelve. I always looked at computers as a hobby and something to do for fun as opposed to a career. Throughout my life, I have been in school for many things including mechanical drafting and EMT courses in my search to find that perfect career. In deciding to pursue a career in computers, the one thing that became clear was the need to earn my certifications. Although I had looked into taking classes at community colleges and universities, none of them offered a program geared towards obtaining a MCSE certification.

As I was driving one day, I heard the radio ad for ComputerTraining.com and was instantly excited. I thought finally someone is offering a program geared specifically towards what I wanted! I signed up for the class within two weeks of hearing that ad and haven’t looked back. With the help of ComputerTraining.com, I obtained a position as a PC Support Specialist with a large corporation that offers great opportunities in IT and awesome benefits, all while I was still in the class! After taking the program at ComputerTraining.com, I have finally turned something I love into my career!"

"Before I started class with ComputerTraining.com, I had very limited experience with computers.  I knew my way around Windows XP enough to do most home consumer tasks, email, surf the web and play games.  My enjoyment of playing games and working with spread sheets led me to thinking about a career in working with computers.  As time went on and my son got older, we started building our own computers to make them faster and with better graphics.  I had a very good job in the construction field and was making pretty good money.  I just didn’t like what I was doing.  I had spent the last twenty three years doing a job that I didn’t like.  I was just a way to pay the bills.

The opportunity that ComputerTraining.com gave was just what I was looking for.  Their program would give me the chance to achieve Microsoft certifications with six months, as opposed to the eighteen to twenty four months that some of the local colleges had to offer.  Since I was changing careers, I knew that I needed to be able to move as quickly as possible.  And since ComputerTraining.com also offered placement assistance it was the perfect fit for me.

As the time for my class drew near, I started to become nervous about my decisions to take the class.  My work associates were not supportive and I would hear things like, “You’re too old to start a new career,” or, “You’ll be back.”  Every time I would hear these comments, I would tell myself that I can do anything that I put my mind to.  The fact that I love a good challenge is another thing that I had going for me.  I was determined to succeed in my new career and I wasn’t going to let anyone discourage me from trying.

As the classes progressed, I found that there was a lot of material to go over and I would have to stay focused to keep up with the course. There were times when I questioned whether or not I would be able to keep up. Each time I felt that fear, I would tell myself that it is only six months and I can make whatever changes to my schedule that were needed to allow me to be successful in my studies. After I achieved my first certification, I knew that I could do this and would not stop until I reached my goals. As the classes continued on, I found that I was really starting to understand some of the things that had initially confused me. I found that the more I worked with the labs, the more I gained a solid understanding of the concepts being taught.

Towards the end off my classes, I was approached about doing an internship for ComputerTraining.com, to help set up for classes and work with students that needed help during labs. This really confirmed that I had learned a lot of the material in the previous six months and now I, was able to help other people understand the material as well.

One of the main benefits of going with CornputerTraining.com was the fact that they offer placement assistance. Since I had spent the previous twenty-three years in construction, I had no experience with writing resumes or with professional interviews. I found the instruction they offered very beneficial. They helped me to create a resume that highlighted my past experience and current training. The mock interviews also helped me understand what to expect from a technical interview. So once ComputerTraining.com started to circulate my resume, I felt prepared for the interviews that followed.

I am currently working for a major company on a six month contract with a right to hire clause. I am very excited that the first steps of my new career are behind me now. I am looking forward to the next step up the ladder. My decision to attend class at ComputerTraining.com was the best decision I could have made to start my new career in the IT field. They were very supportive and very concerned about my success with the course and helped me find the correct job to get me started."

"Before entering ComputerTraining.com I had a multi-faceted background in Computer Technology. From Web Design, Multimedia Content Design, Video Editing and Programming, my life and career has been devoted to computer technologies since the early 1990’s.

Starting as a hardware technician, working on old Microsoft platforms, I knew that the computer industry was for me. Migrating from home end-user desktop support to development and design, I found my career exciting yet not quite fulfilling. I wanted bigger and more involved jobs; I wanted to work with Server technologies.

ComputerTraining.com taught me the skills that I needed to progress my career into network and domain topologies. A vigorous and demanding course, devotion is the key to success. Many hours of study, experience, and hands on training backed by their excellent training staff and second to none career services department set me up to succeed and move forward in an industry that I had seen grow at a phenomenal rate. I knew the future of my success lye in my abilities to support large corporate networks, and my studies at ComputerTraining.com were well focused and right on par with my expectations. The most important piece of knowledge in this is not that I learned everything, but that every day from now into the far future, I have gained the skills required to learn more; the skills I need to continue to advance my knowledge and my career; the ability to overcome everyday technical challenges.

I greatly appreciate the tutorage, dedication and knowledge of the team at ComputerTraining.com. They have a wonderful group approach that presents them at the top of IT training and education."

"I have always loved computers and had an aptitude for them. When my job just wasn't making ends meet, I decided certification would help me earn more in the industry. At first I was a little worried about the program, but once I saw the passion of the instructor and the honesty of the staff, I knew this was the right place to be.

I love being able to use my knowledge to help others. In order to succeed in the class, you have to make time to study; there is no way around it. "I have no time" doesn't cut it. The overall experience, though, has given me the knowledge and confidence to be able to solve almost any problem."

"After working at GE for almost 6 years, I was laid off. I had not finished my Bachelors Degree and realized that I would soon be unemployed with no real skills employers would be looking for. A fast track program to get real world, usable technical knowledge was exactly what I was needed.

I was definitely concerned with the enormous amount of technical information the curricula outlined in a very short timeframe. The effort required by the program is no small or simple task. Solid time management and some sacrifice are required. If it were easy, everyone would have an MCSA / MCSE.

My new career is in data storage technology. This field has been expanding exponentially year after year. The opportunities that have already been made available to me are extensive. Instructor lead, hands on training has opened up a whole new world in the IT field for me. I have also gained additional, industry recognized certifications that will allow me to continue my career advancement.

For new students, I would tell them to stay focused and don’t fall behind. Follow the study keys to success that is outlined by the staff. Pre-read before class and re-read after. Find a routine that works for you and make it a habit. And most importantly, don’t be intimidated or discouraged by the Microsoft tests. Start taking practice test early and often. The repetition and memorization is extremely beneficial.

I can safely say that before ComputerTraining.com I had no career. The knowledge and training provided by the course was instrumental to my increased responsibility and earning potential. I have only ComputerTraining.com to thank for pushing me to the opportunities afforded to me and those yet to come."
