"Even
with a college degree and technical support experience, I was
having trouble finding a job in the IT field. Employers did not
seem to want to waste their time interviewing anyone who did not
have technical certifications. With that realization I set out to find the certification program that
was right for me and ComputerTraining.com was it. At six months it is the perfect length to cover all of the
material at a reasonable pace without turning your brain into
complete mush. I was impressed with the curriculum and by what
the current students had to say about the program, I
signed up on a Saturday afternoon and was sitting in the first
class two days later on that Monday night.
Within a few weeks after starting the course and updating my resume to include
the ComputerTraining.com program, I started receiving interviews and job offers.
I was now in the driver's seat of my career with options to choose from. A few
weeks later, I started working in the IT department of a bank as a Technical
Analyst.
My employer told me that I landed the job and
beat out the other applicants because my enrollment in ComputerTraining.com's
program proved I was dedicated to learning new things and keeping up with the
latest technology. Even though I had only earned my MCP certification at my
start date, they believed in my potential based on my confidence and the
reputation of ComputerTraining.com's program.
I soon found that ComputerTraining.com's course material was perfectly
complementing what was required to perform my responsibilities on the job. I was taking what I learned in class and applying it to work and taking what I
learned in work and applying it to class.
I remained dedicated to keeping up with the course until the end and was able to
achieve the Perfect Attendance award as well as the Early Achiever award when I
earned my MCSE certification. Our instructor promoted a great learning
environment which led to many friendships in the class and she really kept us
going with encouragement and motivation.
Now I am responsible for administering, maintaining, and supporting my
company's network as well as planning for our migration to Active Directory and
future growth strategies.
What's next for me? I plan to go for the Security specialization to my MCSE and
also go for the MCDBA certification to help out in my company's big SQL projects
and possibly some Cisco certifications as well. Taking what I've learned from
ComputerTraining.com I know I can achieve my goals.
ComputerTraining.com provides the resources you need to achieve whatever
level of certification you desire and I am proof that with determination comes
success."

"Fifteen
years as a dental lab tech provided me a lifestyle of living
paycheck to paycheck. I felt that my career was a dead-end and a
huge disappointment, not to mention I was stuck in a hole with a
very discouraged look toward my future. I had minimal computer
exposure when I took the Online Skills Challenge and attended
the free class. Seeing that I was unsure this was the right path to take, the
instructors and employees of ComputerTraining.com took time to
meet with me on several occasions. They made me feel comfortable
about the class and the school as a whole without any pressure
sales like other schools I had visited. The class had roughly fifteen people in it, small enough to get the
individual attention if needed without holding up the rest of
the class.
Passing the first test gave me such a feeling of accomplishment; I couldn't wait
to learn more in order to take the next one. I had found that silver lining with ComputerTraining.com to
get out of the rut I was in and my self-esteem was through the roof with every
test I passed. Don't get me wrong, this wasn't an easy road to become an MCSE
and there were times I wanted to pull my hair out. After all, everything was on
the line here, sink or swim. You see, I quit my job three months into the
classes while making mortgage/vehicle payments, etc... So this was a huge risk
with very little extra money; however, this enabled me to buckle down and
concentrate on learning everything I could.
There have been an unbelievable amount of career opportunities that have come
my way through ComputerTraining.com in fact, I've had to say "sorry" to potential employers since I
passed the MCSE test because I'm already employed. The best part is that there
are so many different IT positions; it all depends on what direction you want
to take your career.
I have achieved many of my goals and have encountered many life-changing
experiences that have shaped me and allowed me to grow, but nothing can compare
to what ComputerTraining.com has taught me and that has molded me into the
professional that I am today
Thank you to everyone at ComputerTraining.com!"

"I can sum up my experience with ComputerTraining.com in two words: “Life Changing.”
Without the knowledge and experience I gained at this school, I would never have made it to where I am today.
I am now proud of who I am and what I do. I liked the class so much that I signed up to become a junior trainer for future classes.
Thank You ComputerTraining.com!"

"I was working in construction on a cold and rainy March day, listening to the radio, when I heard a commercial for ComputerTraining.com. The ad told me to take their Online Skills Challenge. That evening when I got home from work, I took the challenge. Having a computer background I was able to correctly answer 29 out of the 30 questions. I received a phone call to come in and see the class. I was already familiar with the Microsoft certifications and had tried to learn about Windows NT4.0 on my own years earlier, but with little success. I had worked in the computer field repairing image setters, but after leaving that company I found that just my experience alone was not enough to get me a job. A friend who had been in the computer field thought the certifications would definitely help me get back into the field.
I felt comfortable with my abilities on computers, but came to realize that there were many holes in the knowledge I had. The class started to fill those holes and gave me a stronger foundation to build on.
I spent my summer studying and taking tests.
After graduating in November, I did contract work through Robert Half Technologies until I received an offer from Siemens Business Services for a Helpdesk Level II position. I’m making more money in a better environment and with a better chance of moving up than being stuck in a dead-end construction job. I enjoyed the class so much I was only too happy to volunteer and be accepted into the junior trainer program. I have continued to study and have my CompTIA A+ certification now as well. I consider the class to be a benefit and a good investment into myself."

"I spent many years working a career that, although had its financial rewards, severely lacked personal development or challenge. I just couldn’t see myself doing the same task everyday. I had always been interested in working with computers so I decided it was time to make something happen.
After going to the ComputerTraining.com website and seminar, I knew this was the perfect situation for me; an instructor-led lab environment. The instructor was not just a teacher but a student and product of the IT world. Within five months I was an MCSE and actively pursuing a career change. I landed my first IT position as a Network Engineer, working with the skill and tools that ComputerTraining.com helped develop.
It has been a life altering experience. Thanks to ComputerTraining.com and my own dedication, I now go to work facing and resolving challenges in a field with ever changing technology on a daily basis."

"When I first came to ComputerTraining.com I had a good knowledge of computers and Windows, but no certifications to back it up. I
needed a way of getting the education I needed but I had no plans of going back to college. ComputerTraining.com was the best way to start my career.
The first few weeks seemed easy, but I soon learned that there was a whole lot I didn’t know. At times it was hard to take in all the
information that was presented, but the instructor and all the other class members were always happy to help out. With hard work,
help from the friends I made, and my instructor’s devotion to my education, I made it work.
My advice to anyone thinking about whether or not to attend, you should sit in on a class and talk to the instructor and students. You’ll learn
that there is no better way to get certified. Within the six months I spent in the class, I learned everything I needed to know to get certified
and more. The friends I made in my class and the experience I had made this the most successful experience I’ve had in my education.
Since graduating I now face new challenges in my career. However the knowledge and experience I gained at ComputerTraining.com has
not only got me into the IT field, but has also given me more ways to advance in that field. There is not one thing I regret about attending
ComputerTraining.com. By far it was the key to my future."
