"Working in the automotive industry for fourteen years in dead-end jobs, I was ready for a change. So I joined the Army Reserves for a change of scenery. After completion of my training I knew that the automotive field was out, so I kicked around a few more dead-end jobs in search of a school that could fulfill my desire to learn.
I had been playing around with computers as a hobby since “DOS” was the best thing since color TV. So I looked into an IT course that would give me an education and not tie up two years of my life learning how to click “Start” to shutdown. After interviewing different schools in my area, ComputerTraining.com was the choice for me. They offered an aggressive learning curve with a high success rate for a six month course.
In my quest to succeed I worked hard to complete the course, with the reward being the first MCSE in the class and Perfect Attendance.
After completing the course I was determined to land a position in the IT field right smack in the middle of a recession. Through determination, desire, and hard work I was offered a position working on the
Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) project for EDS (Electronic Data Systems).
In twelve weeks I had proved to my managers that not only was I committed to my work, but I was willing to go above and beyond the duties required of me. This in return has led to a promotion from Staging Technician to Staging Lead / Administrator.
More responsibilities and learning comes with the promotion, in which brings new and more exciting challenges every day. Overall my experience with ComputerTraining.com has prepared me for challenges that require me to step up to a new level of professionalism, for which I will always be grateful.
To my instructor, I thank you for your desire to teach and willingness to help others succeed in a very demanding, and always changing field we call, “Information Technology”. You will always be in my prayers.
To those that may be contemplating a challenge: I challenge YOU to stop thinking and start learning."

"Having worked on cars for eight years and not feeling fulfilled with my job situation, I decided to do something about where my career was headed.
I enrolled in the MCSE Program at ComputerTraining.com and in a short amount of time I have graduated and secured a job in the information technology field with a large, national transportation contractor supporting their network infrastructure. Now, not only do I have a great job with a bright future, but I am also making more money than I was before working on high priority projects that may afford me the opportunity to obtain my security clearance.
ComputerTraining.com gave me the skills I needed to pass the Microsoft tests and earn my MCSE. ComputerTraining.com's Career Services Specialist
was also able to help prepare me for the job search process. I was offered the job shortly following my first IT job interview where I was told that over ten candidates were interviewing for the same position.
ComputerTraining.com was able to provide me with both technical and professional skills that I needed to succeed in this industry."

"I needed a career change and I had thought about getting Microsoft certified for a long time. When I heard the commercials on the radio for ComputerTraining.com I thought I would see what they had to offer. I went in for the seminar and liked what I saw and heard. Although, just like a lot of other people, I thought getting certified was impossible, however I knew this is what I wanted to do. So, I gave it a try.
Our instructor was great. She got us focused and taught us what we needed to know. With that help and putting in a lot of study time I was certified in four months.
Now I am a Junior Trainer and got my first IT job as a Network Administrator installing a new network for my company. All this was possible because of ComputerTraining.com. Thank you."

"Prior to joining ComputerTraining.com, I was always interested in computers. As a matter of fact, I can think of nothing else I was ever into more than that. I'd been working in the computer field for 7 years and had several low-end jobs managing networks and doing consulting and troubleshooting with technical support. I was always overworked and underpaid.
I joined ComputerTraining.com as a bored Network Administrator managing 300 computers on a Windows 2000 network with no certifications making 28k per year. With no opportunities in sight, I decided to take the plunge. I'd taken several courses before, but never any that were as 'me' centric and focused on my success and understanding of the subject matter. I was never really brave enough to bone-up and take the Microsoft and Cisco Exams. But with my instructor’s guidance and support, I felt more confident in my abilities.
Within two months I'd passed three Microsoft Exams and also received three CompTia Certifications in Network+ and Computer Hardware and Software as well as Network Security. I immediately knew I wanted to be a trainer and share my knowledge with others. My instructor invited me to join the junior training program at the beginning of the next class. My consulting job had me pinned working 70+ hours a week, which made studying very difficult. But, I gave it my best and managed to pass the exams and come back for the trainer program.
For me, it was never about proving myself to anyone, but always remaining trainable and helping others to gain knowledge of computers and computer networks. Being part of the ComputerTraining.com family made the money almost an afterthought and I never once had any doubt we could do it. I just got my MCSE after the completion of the program and am actively seeking better employment. The experience is one I will never forget and would encourage anyone to share. Honestly, it is the best investment you can ever make in yourself. The computer field is constantly changing and ComputerTraining.com makes keeping up no problem at all."

"I had been working at Kmart for eleven years and I was content with my job. I was the Unit Pricing Manager,
the job was close to home, the hours and the pay were ok, and the benefits were good. If nothing had changed, I would have stayed until I retired in about another ten years. However, things did change and Kmart filed bankruptcy so I had to find a way to secure my future. That’s when I heard the advertisement on the radio for ComputerTraining.com. So, I went online, took the skills test, and scheduled an interview. I was very impressed with the people and the environment so I enrolled in the first class in Wilmington.
The next six months of class was the most challenging endeavor I have ever encountered. Our instructor was fantastic. Everything we did was hands on. He shared real life experiences in the field along with the book instructions and walked you through the labs step by step. I was surprised at the feeling of accomplishment and pride in myself I felt every time I passed an exam. And if I did not pass the exam the first time, I was more determined to pass the second time. Now that I’m a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, I have more confidence in myself and I receive admiration from people in the industry.
Then Kmart emerged from bankruptcy, but needed to downsize and so I was laid off. After several months of applying for jobs in IT, I called the school and ComputerTraining.com’s Career Services Specialists worked very hard with me perfecting my resume, sending me leads and all avenues to pursue, and continually monitoring my progress. I started my first IT job last week as a computer operator in a critical data environment at a Tier 4 data center. I am currently running back-up for just under 1,000 servers or 95 metabit (a million gigs) back-up and we are only at 20% capacity. The total building is 250,000 sq ft consisting of two pods of 45,000sq ft each with total bandwidth of 150 gigs per second. Since we’re not at 100% yet, I have time to spend with the site people learning almost everything from hardware and software for Sun, Microsoft, IBM, Unix, and Solaris. I’ve been told very few IT people get this much exposure on their first IT job. Thanks to ComputerTraining.com, I now feel instead of just having a job, I have a career in an environment where I continue to learn so much in this fast growing industry and get paid to learn."
