"I was working as an Air Transportation Journeyman at Andrews Air Force Base in early 2006. Faced with only about a year left in the service, I decided to explore other work options. With my college education not yet complete, I saw no real way to make the salary I was making in the Air Force.
While at work, a radio advertisement for ComputerTraining.com came over the air. I always loved computers so the commercial spoke to me. I immediately went online and took the skills challenge. I knew a majority of the questions and I received a phone call the same day to confirm my test results. I then met with a student advisor who got me focused and in class two nights a week in minimal time.
While attending ComputerTraining.com, I knew right away that I was stepping into something that would change my life. Knowledgeable, friendly instructors gave me the skills and confidence I needed to succeed in an IT-related career. They also challenged me to go out and learn all I can to be the best that I can possibly be. These things are not common in any other learning environment I have seen.
The Placement Department is a cut above as well. Since graduating ComputerTraining.com, they have helped me actually find two jobs! One job was part time while still on Active Duty, and now my second that will give me a firm future to build upon. What more could someone want from a learning institution?
In summary, ComputerTraining.com has helped shape the person I am today and the person I will become. Through top quality education, industry-experienced instructors, and Job Placement that is second to none, ComputerTraining.com has definitely enriched my life."

"Before starting at ComputerTraining.com, I was primarily a stay at home mom doing web design on the side for a non-profit organization. I enjoyed working with computers and wanted to be able to pursue a career in IT, but I was limited with options for schooling. The course schedule for ComputerTraining.com worked out very well and I had plenty of time to study.
While I was initially apprehensive of the financial commitment, I consider it an investment in my future that has enabled me to begin my career. Working as a Field Technician has given me the mobility I desired in a job."

"Before entering the program, I only had knowledge of the basics of home computers and the internet. I had also learned some HTML and Command Prompt skills. I decided to change my career because I always wanted to get into the IT field and all the warehouse and forklift jobs I was doing were dead end careers. My past two jobs went out of business, so I knew it was the right time to get myself into something I like and has more opportunities. Now I really like the IT environment. Everyone is so friendly and you are always learning something new through work, either on your own or with co-workers.
My biggest fear entering the program was absorbing all the information and being able to use it in the IT field. But I knew I wanted to be in this field, so I pushed myself to work harder. I would say that all the work and time you put into the program will really pay off in the end. If you are willing to put in the time and hard work, you get what you want out of it. My instructor was very helpful and guided me in all the right directions.
The overall experience has given me hope that I can do anything I put my mind to. Now I am doing what I like to do and having fun with it. No stressful jobs anymore and worrying about what I am going to do when the company goes out of business. As my experience grows, so does my income. And that’s the biggest outcome from all the hard work and time you put into the program and staying focused."

"I worked as an automotive mechanic for twenty-five years. For the last ten years I wanted to make a change, but did not know what. One of my many hobbies was tinkering with and building computers. When I heard the ads for ComputerTraining.com on the radio, I thought that finally I found the answer. I could get some formal training in something that I love and turn that into a new career.
My biggest fear was to end up still turning wrenches five years from now. So that said, I decided to overlook my fear of failure and move on with school.
I passed my first certification exam about two and a half months into the course. A month later I passed my second exam, and a third the week after graduation. After seven and a half months since school started, I now have my MCP certification and a job that I look forward to going to every morning as Network Administrator/PC Support.
If you love working with computers/networking and would like to be in a career that has a dynamic learning curve, then go for it like I did! My only regret is that I did not do “IT” ten years ago."

"For three years I've delivered pizzas with no real future in sight. One night I went to the ComputerTraining.com web site just to see what all those commercials were about.
A quick six months later and I'm an MCSE and I've already doubled my income. The career services department was great at placing me in a job that I not only like, but that will jump start my new career. I actually enjoy coming to work now.
If it wasn't for ComputerTraining.com, I'd still be knocking on doors and hating my job. Thanks to everyone at ComputerTraining.com."

"When entering this program, I was coming from what I thought to be a pretty extensive background with computers. I had been building, configuring, and selling personal computers to people for a few years, as well as building my own. I had also been providing tech support for friends, family, and other people I ran into asking for assistance. After being out of high school for about two years and having not attended any college yet, I decided to make a bold move to push myself forward and move into a career. After hearing ads on a local radio station about ComputerTraining.com, I realized it was the perfect opportunity. So I learned that certification was an important asset if I were to move into a career, which led me to signing up for classes.
Only about halfway through the program an opportunity presented itself to our entire class, which I jumped on, with help from my instructor and a fellow student, and lined up an interview. Three interviews later I found myself quitting my current dead-end job, taking a small vacation, and finally moving into the career I wanted. I now enjoy earning a living while gaining valuable experience at the same time. The skills I’m learning as a Technical/Customer Support specialist are great assets for my future and I feel like things are finally going in the right direction.
Things I had been concerned about prior to signing up for the class quickly dissipated. I was unsure if I was ready to be in a school environment again after being out for the previous two years. I wasn’t 100% sure I wanted to do networking as a career, as I had previously been a hardware enthusiast. Finally, I had feared that the time spent going to class and doing work would get in the way of other things I might want to do. But I took a bold move and just went with it. After a few weeks, it was clear to me that I was doing the right thing. I was setting myself up with valuable knowledge and experience that the most growing job market in America was looking for. I quickly got used to going to class for two nights a week and it became a routine that fit into my schedule perfectly.
I would highly suggest that any prospective students with similar concerns be as bold as I have. Reward yourself and take a step in the right direction for a promising and fun career. Just be sure to give it all you’ve got so that every nickel and every minute spent is churning out every bit of benefit it can offer.
I’m currently working as a Technical/Customer Support specialist for a Medical Transcription company. We are growing our customer base by 50% per month and further opportunities for me are looking promising. I’m finally excited about my career and what lies ahead for my future."

"My computer background prior to coming to ComputerTraining.com was slim to none. Most of my experience was self taught through helping out friends and family with their PC issues. My biggest concern was the money. The money reflects what you are going to potentially earn, so my fears were set aside. There is no reason to not go for it!
I first landed a position with Geek Squad because of the schooling. My new career as an I.S. Technician for Hirotec is amazing and more than I could have hoped for. What else could I ask for?
My advice is to be patient and start where you can. It only goes up from there. Also know you have a great professional team behind you. Overall I owe the rest of my life and career to the team here at ComputerTraining.com. Thank you to this awesome team, a great time, and much learned."
