Read What Our Students Are Saying About ComputerTraining.com
A Training Center is only as good
as the students that fill its classrooms. If our students are not
successful, we are not successful. Below are just a few of the
many student success stories happening at ComputerTraining.com. |

"My computer background was mainly a home PC user and troubleshooter. I had a failed business and needed to find a new career that interested me, but also had longevity. I heard the ComputerTraining.com ad and went online. I found that this was something I liked and it held my interest. I decided to pursue this field because I enjoyed the limited exposure I had had with it.
My new career could not be any more exciting if I wanted it to be. The skills I gained in class and as an intern prepared me for my first day on the job. I was placed in front of a brand new production server and asked immediately to work with the Microsoft 2003 Server product. As a consultant, each day I am challenged with different problems and different clients. However all the challenges have a common thread – knowledge of the Microsoft product line. I would never have gained the knowledge I needed without this training.
My biggest fear was that the process of trouble shooting system problems would entail much more analytical thinking than it does. Most problems that are dealt with by Network Engineers are logical and very similar to errors that have already been worked through in labs. So the Microsoft knowledge base is the key to success.
The best advice I would give is to make sure that you dedicate yourself to experiencing the entire educational process. This means read the materials so that you have a starting point for understanding the lectures and complete 100% of the lab material. It is easy to cut corners with time and our days are short, but the few minutes you gain now will lead to many hours lost on the job as you try to learn a few processes you skipped earlier. Make sure you dedicate out of class time to finish those labs, because that hands on experience is crucial to the Microsoft exams and the work environment.
I was truly blessed that the doors to a new career were opened through this experience. As exhausting as starting a new career is, the joy in doing what you love to do every day erases any negative aspects. I have nothing but good things to say about ComputerTraining.com and especially
my trainer."

"I have had an interest in computers as far back as I can remember. I even started building them before I was in high school. Finding work in such a competitive field was close to impossible without certifications. I worked as a traveling tech for many years. I labored for next to nothing in a tiny little repair shop in Hawaii. I was even the IT Professional for my family and friends. I spent over a decade working in a dead-end industry bar tending and waiting tables. I felt as if I had hit the ceiling.
I then found ComputerTraining.com. Not only did I feel a genuine interest in me from the top of the company down, but my instructor made my education experience one of the best I had ever had. Through her, I found the motivation I needed to stay on top of my studies and find a passion to succeed. Not only was I able to find a job that I actually enjoy going to everyday, but I feel I was able to break that ceiling I had hit and allow myself the ability to grow! The sky is the limit! My certifications now open doors for me that were not only closed before, but were completely hidden from me.
Now I have a job I love, and an internship with ComputerTraining.com that I am hoping will remain a beautiful relationship for years to come and give me the drive to be successful in a field I have wanted to be a part of for so long."

"I’ve worked with computers for most of my life, but it was always in a fairly low-level and low-paying position. I had my A+ certification, but it didn’t seem to be much in demand despite my six years of experience. I had considered MCSE before but felt it was too far beyond my experience. Then I heard ComputerTraining.com’s ads on the radio and decided enough was enough. I signed up for the class after taking the Online Skills Challenge and informed my boss that in six months, I would be doing something new whether it be for him or someone else!
Before starting this class, most of my experience had been with workstations and peer-to-peer networks. Server-based networks were a change and there was a lot of new material I hadn’t anticipated going into the class. My biggest concern was losing momentum. I’m really good at starting something, but I sometimes lose interest as I move forward. With ComputerTraining.com’s classes this was never an issue because things kept moving and challenging me. I was learning something new every day. The class never became routine. Before I realized it, I had completed the course and I became certified. It was time to go back to my boss and make good on the promise I had made!
I have never looked back. My new position is fun, challenging, and rewarding. The knowledge and skills I picked up at ComputerTraining.com are useful every day. I’m amazed at how much of it I use!
The best advice I can offer new students is to do all of your homework on time to keep you from falling behind. The class moves at a fast pace! Take your exams while the material is fresh to you and use the practice exams to further polish your knowledge and skills, they give you a great idea of what to expect!"

"Before coming to ComputerTraining.com, I used computers on a fairly regular basis. I had a decent understanding of how to use computers and how to fix minor problems. In the workplace I started finding myself often being the “go to” person before having to call the administrator. Working very physically demanding shifts with low wages and seeing myself going nowhere fast, I started thinking that maybe I could combine my love of helping people with my budding technical skills.
I started hearing ComputerTraining.com commercials on the radio and thought “Why not? What do I have to lose?” I was a bit nervous at first, not sure if I had what it would take to succeed in this field. Once classes started and saw that I wasn’t the only one with similar concerns, I put my mind to rest and focused on the task at hand.
I love the career field I am in now. I have a lot more opportunities and room for advancement than in all my previous jobs. A wise man once told me “Life is what you make of it” and that is exactly right. I think the best advice I would give to students entering the program is to read as much as possible and take as many practice tests as possible.
Deciding to go to ComputerTraining.com was probably one the best decisions I have made for myself. My life is now starting to go in the direction I like it to be. I am no longer worried about my future because I know that I will always have the skills I learned here and always be able to build on them. I enjoy traveling and I will now be able to pick up and go more than I could have in the past. Also, I would like to thank everyone at ComputerTraining.com for believing in me and giving me this wonderful life changing opportunity."

"My experience in the IT field was limited to personal computer use until
ComputerTraining.com gave me the opportunity to further my professional goals and make a career change. My biggest reservation about entering the program was balancing the courses, homework and my full-time position. I was able to overcoming this obstacle by taking one day at a time.
After I graduated from ComputerTraining.com, I accepted a position with Computer Renditions in Carmel, Indiana as a Technical Services Engineer. This position allows me to utilize my coursework and build my career on that solid foundation.
My advice to anyone interested in this program is to go for it! Whatever you put into the program is what you will get out of it."
